RULES FOR THE TRUSTAFF PHOTO CONTEST
CONTEST IS OFFERED ONLY IN THE UNITED STATES.
ELIGIBILITY. Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and
the District of Columbia (U.S.), age 18 and older, and who is currently on a
travel assignment. This contest is also not open to any
previous winner of the Trustaff Photo
Contest who has already won the grand prize of a $100 gift certificate (or
equivalent prize of equal or greater value). Contest void where prohibited.
ENTRY. Entries must be related to any theme and may be shot in any style:
documentary, still-life, fashion or portrait. Entries may be in color or black
and white. Entries must be the sole work of the entrant, they must be original,
and the sole property of the entrant. To enter, go to
www.trustafftravelnurses.com/photocontest.aspx and follow the electronic entry
instructions.
JUDGING. Entries will be judged by a panel of judges on the Trustaff Marketing
Staff. Entries will be judged on the basis of photographic skill, originality
and creativity. One Prize Winner will be selected every month, and awarded a
$100 gift certificate, or equivalent prize of equal or greater value.
PRIZES. Monthly prizes. A $100 gift certificate or equivalent prize of equal or
greater value. Winners may also receive special prizes from Trustaff where
applicable.
PRIZE RESTRICTIONS. Prizes may not be redeemed for cash and no substitutes will be permitted
except by Trustaff which reserve right to substitute any prize for one of
comparable value. Prizes may not be transferred. Any taxes on the prizes and any
expenses not stated related to the acceptance and use of a prize will be the
sole responsibility of the winner. Prizes will be subject to normal Trustaff
standards, control and editing. Trustaff disclaim any warranty, expressed or
implied, relative to any prize.
WINNER NOTIFICATION. Winners will be notified
by e-mail no less than ten (10) days after the completion of judging. The Grand
Prize winner will be required to complete, sign and return within a specified
time an Affidavit or Declaration of Eligibility, a Liability Release and, except
where prohibited, a Publicity Release. In addition, each winner will be required
to sign such additional documents requested by Trustaff that (a) they own all
rights to the photograph, that the photograph is the original work of the winner
and does not infringe any proprietary right, including but not limited to
copyright, trademark and the rights of publicity and privacy, of any other
party; and (b) grant to Trustaff the right to use the photograph in print,
electronic or any other medium now existing or developed in the future, for
educational, commercial and artistic purposes without restriction and prior
approval and without compensation, provided its usage is restricted to
information and promotion about the Trustaff Photo Contest. Failure to timely
sign and return any requested document or the return of any prize notification
as undeliverable will cause a prize to be forfeited and awarded to an alternate
as selected by the judges.
CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION. By participating, entrants
(a) agree to these official rules and the decisions of the Trustaff and the
judges which decisions shall be final and binding on all matters relating to the
contest; (b) warrant and represent that the photographs submitted are their
original work and that they own all rights thereto and that they do not infringe
any proprietary right, including but not limited to copyright, trademark and
rights of publicity and privacy, of any party; (c) agree to release, indemnify
and hold harmless Trustaff, their affiliated companies and their respective
directors, officers and employees from and against any claim, liability,
injuries, losses or damages, including but not limited to claims of invasion of
the rights of publicity or privacy, resulting, in whole or in part, directly or
indirectly, from their participation in the contest and the acceptance and use
of a prize.
DISCLAIMER. Trustaff and their agents are not responsible for (a) any error, omission,
interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or
destruction or unauthorized access to contest entry materials, or for technical,
network, telephone, computer hardware of software malfunctions of any kind,
traffic congestion on the internet or at any web site or for any viruses or
worms resulting from the use of any web site; or (b) for any injury or damage to
an entrants or any other persons computer related to or resulting from
downloading and printing the official entry form or any other contest materials.
In the event of any discrepancy between any advertisement concerning the contest
and these official rules, the latter shall govern. If for any reason, Sponsor
and Nielsen determine, at their sole discretion, that the contest is compromised
or corrupted and cannot be conducted fairly and as planned, Trustaff reserve the
right to cancel, terminate or modify the contest; in such event to post notice
thereof at www.trustafftravelnurses.com/photocontest.aspx Any dispute relating
to the contest shall be resolved in the State of Ohio under the laws of such
state without regard to any conflict of laws principles.
WINNERS LIST. A list of winners and the winning photographs will be posted at Trustaff
on an ongoing basis, and winners and entrants will be notified by e-mail.
PRIVACY POLICY. Trustaff fully respects your rights to privacy and utilizes the following
practices in regards to any information we are provided or obtain about users of
this website. In order to provide service to you as a customer of Trustaff, we
may require you to provide certain information to us. Common items may include,
but are not limited to, your name, address, and phone number. By providing this
information to Olympus Trustaff, you are agreeing to allow us to utilize this
information to complete all transactions you request through this website and to
disclose that information and details of all such transactions to Trustaff, our
subsidiaries, affiliates and any necessary payment processors. Because of the
nature of the internet, such data may pass through any country.
E-MAIL. If you authorize us to send you promotional materials, we may do so using
either the e-mail or the mailing addresses you provided on the Contest Entry
information screen. From time to time we may notify you of special events,
contest updates, services, or other information that may interest you. We do not
share any information you provide to us, including your e-mail and mail
addresses, with any companies outside Olympus Trustaff, its affiliates or
necessary payment processors. Should you not wish to receive this type of
information, you will be able to express this desire by clicking on the
appropriate button or checkbox when first asked to respond to the issue, or by
modifying your profile at anytime thereafter. We will not send you information
if you inform us you do not wish to receive such materials. If you would like to
revise the information provided to us, or feel that what we currently have on
record is incorrect, you may update the information in the update profile
section of this website.
